Candidates will be expected to portray a professional image whilst carrying out their duties and have a friendly and courteous manner. Good hand-to-eye co-ordination, quality of workmanship and dexterity is critical.

 Applicants must be reliable and able to work efficiently at repetitive tasks whilst maintaining a high standard of quality. The successful candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and be able to work on their own initiative or as part of a team. Experience with electronic components would be an advantage but not essential.

 Essential Skills/experience:

• Highly skilled and experienced in the use of power tools.
• Proficient in the understanding of technical drawing and the ability to create drilling jigs and templates.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.

• Read and understand technical drawings
• Follow technical drawing for parts placement, precision drilling, routing and tapping.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies into cases and cabinets.
• Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curiMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
